Star Wars

The Star Wars prequels introduced some new design aesthetics on top of the existing universe. I was one of only 2 concept model makers in the art department for the Star Wars prequels where we developed the look of new space ships, robots and locations . I also worked in the ILM modelshop during post production to make the shooting models for filming.

The Star Wars prequels had a tremendous number of miniatures made. There were more models built for Episode 1 than for all of the previous Star Wars films combined. Episodes 2 & 3 were equally huge builds. Numerous model vehicles and huge, elaborate set extensions where used to create the new worlds.
