Star Trek: First Contact needed new versions of established models built. In addition to the newest version of the Enterprise herself, we built the Cochrane missile which was (in the movie mythos) the very first Earth made warp drive vehicle. My nerd street cred went up, as I made the first warp engines.

We also needed to build a new version of the Borg cube. The TV version was not up to the big screen resolution. Many layers of etched brass and model bits built up the deep detail of that. The Borg sphere was a new addition to the Borg world as well. I guess they like simple shapes.
